Course information

By discussing concrete research questions from a theoretical and methodological perspective, this course will offer a broad orientation to contemporary theories and methods in linguistic research. The students will also be given the possibility to deepen their understanding of selected theories and methods and apply these to concrete linguistic data.

Prerequisites and special admittance requirements

Admitted to The Master’s Programme in Language Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities, or completed course Linguistics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits, Phonetics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits or Computational Linguistics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits. Swedish Upper Secondary School course English B/English 6 or equivalent.
