This course provides a theoretical and methodological basis for linguistic analysis above the sentence level by offering an orientation in current theories and methods in discourse and interact ion analysis, as well as experience in applying these methods to linguistic data and to analyse and discuss linguistic data by drawing on current discourse theoretical approaches.

Admitted to The Master’s Programme in Language Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities, or completed course Linguistics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits, Phonetics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits or Computational Linguistics - Bachelor's course, 30 ECTS credits. Swedish Upper Secondary School course English B/English 6 or equivalent.
